Responsibilities

  • Carry out the daily operation (regulatory monitoring and reporting process adjustments, chemical transferring and maintenance) of the facilities
  • Complete and compile data of daily inspections, monitoring, and sampling as required
  • Report operational problems to the supervisor
  • Perform maintenance tasks as requested by the supervisor
  • Perform laboratory analysis and reporting
  • Perform maintenance on equipment
  • Help the supervisor with the preparation of monthly an annual reports
  • On call duties as per the schedule set out by the supervisor
  • Participate and comply with all aspects of the company’s health and safety program

Mandatory Requirements

  • Level 2 (ABC equivalent) certification in WT, WWT, WWC, WDS (preferred)
  • OIT or lvl1+ (ABC equivalent) certification in WT, WWT, WWC, WDS (mandatory)
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Ability to lift 25 kg (55lb)
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Problem solving skills, and ability to work with limited supervision
  • Intermediate to advanced mechanical knowledge
  • Hand and power tool knowledge
